Computers 101
is committed to helping our community grow and prosper. Each year, we promise to commit valuable and affordable education to the Rio Grande Valley. Almost all customers’ will have the opportunity to receive guidance, support and instruction to acquire the computer skills demanded from our modern world.

We are relentless and committed to bridging the digital divide gap from those who have access and those who do not have access to technology or computer know-how. Our dream and focus is for every single person in the Rio Grande Valley to have access to computer education and acquire the computer skills needed in this age of information and technology.

Computers 101 will continue to provide free and valuable information in the form of a web blog.  On a weekly basis our instructors provide up-to-date news, issues, research and a variety of computer and software related topics.  We hope everyone finds this information informative and enlightening.  Click here to go to our web blog.

Computers 101 will continue to be an active member of the Humane Society. In addition, churches and other non-profit organizations have an opportunity to receive free computer training from our facility.  We also offer gift certificates that may be used in raffle ticket events within these organization.

If you would like to suggest a deserving organization for free training please give us a call.  Each request is reviewed by a committee to determine that the entity is:
1    a.)  not-for-profit organization
      b.)  the organization is a 501 (c)(3) as defined by the Internal Revenue Service
2     a.)  Training will be giving to volunteers who contribute at minimum 15 hours a week for at minimum six months to any of the above two types of organizations.

Computers 101 WILL NOT provide free training for:
1.)  Individuals
2.)  Profit-making entities
3.)  Random request for donations of services and products
4.)  Salaries of staff/teachers, etc.
5.)  Government agencies, political organizations, campaigns or candidates for public office

Contributions are for computer training classes only and does not include manuals which are required for each course.  Cost of instructional manual is $64.95 per person.
